Privacy
What this site stores, which companies hold a copy, and how to get it back or have it deleted. Short, because the honest version is short: there is no advertising network here and nothing is sold.

What we hold
- Your account. Email, name and profile picture, from AuthRobo when you sign in.
- Your username. The name your profile lives at, and any others you hold.
- Startups you list. Name, site, category, stage, description, how you are involved, and the colours and icon read from the site’s own front page.
- Your watchlist, to-do list and collections. Including anything you type into them.
- Ideas Studio. The ideas you work on and their versions.
- Purchases. What you bought, for how much, and the Stripe reference — enough to answer a question about a receipt.
- Newsletter signups, if you give us an address.
We do not run advertising, we do not build profiles for advertisers, and we do not sell anything to anybody.
What is public
Your profile is at a public address once you have a username, and it shows the startups you have listed as founded or owned.
Your watchlist is not public. Neither is your to-do list, your Ideas Studio work, your email address or what you have bought. What you are paying attention to is yours; only what you stand behind is published.
Who else holds it
Running this site means other companies hold parts of it. These are all of them.

Some of them are outside Australia, which means your data is too. Each is bound by its own terms and its own obligations to you.
Cookies
Three, and none of them are for tracking:
ar_atandar_rt— your sign-in, from AuthRobo. Without them you are signed out.tms_profile_template— which public profile layout you picked.
The site also uses your browser’s local storage to remember a profile image and whether you prefer tiles or a list. That never leaves your device.
There is no analytics script and no advertising cookie, which is why there is no consent banner to dismiss.
How long
Account data and anything you created is kept until you delete it or ask us to. Purchase records are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep financial records, which is seven years in Australia — that one we cannot delete on request.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its contents. Email hello@adfo.com.au and we will action it.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled a privacy matter, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. We would rather you told us first, and we will answer.
